Gabriel Alvarez

Gabriel Alvarez, 26, has four years of experience in the dog mushing world. Based out of Moran, Wyoming, he works with his kennel, Continental Divide, which focuses on Alaskan Huskies. Gabriel first discovered mushing after graduating from college in Tennessee, when he joined Gold Rush Dog Tours in Juneau, Alaska. There, he honed his skills under the mentorship of Victor Lazo, the manager and current owner of Continental Divide. Now, with 180 dogs in his care, Gabriel is excited to race in his first-ever competition, Race to the Sky.
